The University of Baltimore's Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation and the Center for Excellence in Learning, Teaching and Technology will join Upsurge Baltimore and Ardent AI in an event to mark National Data Privacy Week on Tuesday, Jan. 28, starting at 4 p.m. in headquarters of UpSurge, 1501 St. Paul St., in Suite 130, across from Penn Station. Attendance is limited; see below for details.
The event, "Artificial Intelligence or Artificial Risk: Privacy in the AI Era," will bring together Baltimore's cybersecurity professionals and educators to highlight the importance of data privacy and how individuals can take control of their data. It will feature experts and university researchers, alongside the Baltimore business community, in a lively discussion intended to create awareness about data privacy and AI governance in the state of Maryland.
At the conclusion of the panel discussion, attendees are invited to join Upsurge's weekly Equitech Tuesday networking happy hour, sponsored by Ardent AI.
Event and attendance details are available here.
