Governor Martin O'Malley has announced the inclusion of $4 million in planning and design funds for a new law center at the University of Baltimore.
All projects in the capital budget are subject to legislative review and approval. If approved, planning will begin for a $107 million, 200,000-square-foot facility with a projected opening of fall 2012.
The University of Baltimore expresses its gratitude to Gov. O'Malley for his continuing support of public higher education and for recognizing UB's contributions and needs. The University also thanks University System of Maryland Chancellor William E. Kirwan, as well as the USM Board of Regents, for their support of this project.
