Faculty Retirement Policies - Implementation Statement

The University of Baltimore values the contributions of its faculty throughout their career with the University and beyond. Three faculty policies (Phased Retirement, Engaged Retirement, Emeritus Faculty) were created as a result of an Alfred P. Sloan Awards for Career Flexibility to provide a foundation on which retired faculty could maintain a continuing relationship with the University of Baltimore. Benefits provided in the policies encourage that continuing relationship.

Instructions on taking advantage of the services and benefits outlined in the policies will be communicated to retiring faculty by the Office of Human Resources during their retirement benefit discussions.
