About OTS

Vision

The Office of Technology Services (OTS) will deliver and support accessible, high quality enabling technology solutions and information services. The services exist in order to enhance the user experiences in teaching and learning, to streamline business processes, to support community relationships and partnerships, and to facilitate a self-service approach to life-long learning.

Mission

In support of the University of Baltimore's commitment to become a living-learning laboratory at the center of the Baltimore renaissance, OTS will hold itself accountable to enable the teaching and learning experience of the community by:

  • Listening to the customers;
  • Providing dependable, reliable, and stable access to technology services;
  • Interactively communicating within and outside the UB community to deliver responsive services that meet the customers' need at the times they are needed;
  • Demonstrating integrity by implementing quality OTS internal policies, procedures, standards, performance measures, and documentation to ensure the consistent delivery of high quality services; and
  • Ensuring accuracy of data and currency of technologies.
