Now that you're admitted
- Get connected
UB offers a host of online services so you have 24-hour access to your records and information. MyUB: The MyUB web portal is your source for online registration, unofficial transcripts, transfer credit information, online bill payment and more. You can also verify that your admission application is complete. If you do not know your user ID and password, you can obtain it and reset it on the Self Service Password Reset page.
- Accept or decline our offer of admission
Log on to MyUB. Your Student Page will prompt you to either accept or decline your admission. It may take up to 2 business days to process your acceptance before you will be eligible to register, so please plan ahead.
- Apply for Financial Aid
If you haven't applied for financial aid, submit a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Be sure to list UB's school code (002102). For more information about Financial Aid call 410.837.4763.
- Make an appointment with your academic adviser
Contact your Academic Adviser to make an advising appointment. Your adviser's contact information is provided on your admission letter. Please be sure to ask your academic advisor about any placement tests. For placement test information visit the Academic Resource Center web pages.
- Register for classes
You must speak with your academic adviser before enrolling for the first time at UB. You can register for classes online or in person. Visit MyUB or go to the Records Office in the Academic Center, Room 126 to register for classes. The Course Registration Schedule will list the dates students can begin registering for classes through the MyUB web portal or in person. Our Course Schedule works in real time so you know how many seats are available in classes at the moment you're looking at them. - Pay tuition and fees
Tuition bills are mailed two weeks prior to the start of classes. Tuition and fees can be paid by credit card, personal check or cash at the Bursar's Office, Academic Center, Room 127 or by credit card online through MyUB.
- Get your Student ID Card
You may obtain your photo ID at the security desk on the first floor of the Law School.
- Get your parking permit
You may obtain a parking permit at the Parking website online.
