SPRING 2010 CONSORTIA AGREEMENTS

**DEADLINE** Monday February 15, 2010

Consortia Agreements for students taking classes at another institution must be completed and received by the Financial Aid Office no later than February 15, 2010.

A Consortium Agreement is a two part process; both parts must be received by the OFA for processing to proceed:

  1. Academic Permission obtained from your UB Academic Advisor submitted directly to the UB Office of Financial Aid consort agreementcompleted by the host school and faxed to UB Office of Financial Aid
  2. Consort Agreement

Courses taken as a visiting student at another institution that have been approved by an academic advisor as credit toward a student's degree at the University of Baltimore may be considered in calculating financial aid eligibility.

A consortium agreement between the two institutions will be required. The student must also provide the Office of Financial Aid with written permission from their academic advisor stating the course(s) and associated credits that will be accepted for transfer to the student's University of Baltimore degree.

The student portion of the form must be completed, signed and submitted to the Office of Financial Aid at the Host institution. The Host institution can then complete the form and fax it to the University of Baltimore.

It is the responsibility of the student to meet payment obligations at the Host institution if financial aid is not in place at the University of Baltimore.

The Office of Financial Aid must be notified of changes to enrollment at the Host institution.

For information regarding consortium agreements, please contact Ms. Juanita Robertson at jrobertson@ubalt.edu.
