Public Safety Timely Notice
University of Baltimore Public Safety
The Department of Public Safety works closely with the Baltimore Police Department to review current criminal activity and information, both on campus and on our public property area. In the event that a situation comes to the attention of the University Police and is considered by the university to represent a serious or continuing threat to the campus community, the Chief of the University Police, in consultation with senior administrators, will issue a campus wide "alert." The alert shall be communicated via:
- broadcast e-mail to the campus community
- posted on the university's web page
- Emergency Text Message
- Emergency Notification line 410.837.4201
Anyone with information they believe warrants a timely warning should report the situation to the University Police at 410-837-5520 or in-person at the Police Communications Center located in the lobby of the Academic Center, 1420 N. Charles Street.
