MGMT 781: International Business Strategy
- Draws on the framework of global strategic management to help students integrate the concepts of economics, finance, marketing, technology and operations in a global context.
- IT focuses on market entry issues, transnational structures, operational issues and leadership in cross-cultural settings and provides the framework for a real-world international business project to be completed by student teams.
- Offers the option for a study/analysis trip to another country. (Learn more about Students have to prepare a three-part project for the semester. The project is divided:
- (1) analysis of Baltimore Region,
- (2) analysis of another country/region of the world
- (3) proposals for business ventures linking Baltimore and the other country/region.
Prerequisites of the course: All 500-level MBA courses or equivalent
