Dual Degree Juris Doctor/Master of Science in Negotiations and Conflict Management

University of Baltimore Graduate Programs

The University of Baltimore School of Law and the Yale Gordon College of Liberals Arts offer students the opportunity to earn the J.D. and M.S. in negotiations and conflict management degrees through a combined program that accelerates their progress. Participants must complete 81 law credits and 33 (rather than 42) master’s credits to receive the J.D./M.S. in negotiations and conflict management.

The majority of the work for the master's degree is completed during the last two years of law school. Students taking this route obtain admission to the law school very early in their master's studies (or before).

If you're ready to apply, you can download UB's graduate application (131k pdf) or fill out an online application. In addition, the following are required:

  • the non-refundable application fee
  • two official transcripts from each institution you've attended
  • three letters of recommendation that assess your academic and career potentials
