Dean’s Business Council and Discipline-Focused Advisory Boards
Each of Merrick's Advisory Boards bring together alumni and professional friends of the business school, its mission is to foster interaction between the academic programs and the business community. Specific goals of each board include enhancing internship and career opportunities, increasing financial support, and promoting direct participation in the educational experiences of business students.
The Board and its members serve as advisers to the administration, faculty, and students in formulating and evaluating strategies to enhance visibility, curricula innovation and general programming. The Board's activity on a variety of fronts is a key component in our student focused, regionally committed and globally oriented philosophy.
