MEMBERSHIP TYPES AND DUES
 
1.       Regular Student Membership

Two semesters (Fall and Spring)

Membership in UB Finance Society is open to all enrolled students in good academic standing and in good conduct standing at the university, as specified by the UB policies, of the UB’s undergraduate and graduate programs, including UB joint graduate programs with UB’s strategic education partners. 
Members must maintain such standards.
 
2.       FMA International affiliated student membership (optional)
Dues
FMA International affiliated Student Membership Dues
National Honor Society Membership Dues

One year membership

Notes
**Subscriptions to the FMA’s journal, Financial Management, are available to FMA International affiliated student members for an additional $10 for a one-year subscription, or $20 for a two-year subscription.
 
THE FOLLOWING PAYMENT OPTIONS ARE AVAILABLE:
1.       Cash
2.       Check (must be in US dollars drawn on a US bank)
a.       For Regular Student Membership, made payable to “Finance Society”
b.      For FMA International affiliated student membership, made payable to “FMA”
3.       Credit Card (Only for FMA International Affiliated membership sign up electronically)
 
Always ask and keep the receipts (including electronic FMA membership sign up) as proof of your payment.
The unique number on the receipt is how we track if your payment and/ or application has been received.
 
INSTRUCTIONS FOR REGULAR STUDENT MEMBERSHIP APPLICATION AND DUES:
  1. Fill the membership online form under "Join Us”
  2. Drop your payment to:
    1. the Treasurer at the meetings; or
    2. A drop box (more instructions will be provided ASAP)
  3. Upon completion of the membership dues, you will be added to the membership roaster of UB Finance Society at UB CSI Link.
  4. A confirmation e-mail from CSI Link will be sent to your provided e-mail, and you must confirm the membership through the link given at the e-mail. (Required by CSI).
  5. To confirm, click the link and you will be directed to the CSI Link.
  6. You will need to login to CSI Link using your UB user id and password. After login, a request of membership confirmation will be on the first page (Home).
 Notes:
If you have done this before last semester, you might not receive the link confirmation from UB Finance Society unless you have not confirmed your membership.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR FMA MEMBERSHIP APPLICATION AND DUES AT THE UB FINANCE SOCIETY:
  1. Print and fill your completed application available at FMA Membership Form on our website; or
  2. Submit your application online (more instruction will be provided ASAP).
  3. For paper application, drop your payment and application to:
    1. The UB Finance Society Treasurer at the meetings with your FMA student member application; or
    2. A drop box (more instructions will be provided ASAP)
Again, always ask and keep the receipt as proof of your payment.

  1. After we sent your initial application to FMA, you will be hearing back from them within two to four weeks with your login information. The online application is a faster process to get access to FMA resources.
