And who gets to see it? Social networking sites (think Facebook and Twitter) keep us in touch with friends, but what else do they get us? Ever find yourself clicking through a stranger’s photo album because one of your friends was tagged in 1 of the 80 photos? Those of us who use social networking sites can probably share stories about guilty, voyeuristic Facebooking. It happens and, for most of us, it’s innocent. For some, the looking doesn’t stop there.

What do you do to protect yourself from people seeing too much of your daily life through a social network site or your personal Web site? If you’re not careful, you might get more than you expected. Wrapping up National Cyber Security Awareness month, this week we address sensitive data as it relates to real personal information we freely share: our daily routines and thoughts.
