Purchasing Software for Personal Use
The Office of Technology Services negotiates vendor contracts for licensing programs which provide substantial discounts or free software to the UB community for use at home or on campus. Each company has specific regulations governing the utilization of their software products, where that, the user must agree to abide by prior to downloading or installing the application on a computer system or laptop. Currently, UB has software licensing agreements with Microsoft, Adobe, and Symantec.
