In order to use a computer ON CAMPUS (to write a paper, access Langsdale's databases, etc), you need a network account, (starting with UBxx#xx) and password. If you do not have an account, call 410-837-6262 or email helpdesk@ubalt.edu. This account also gives you 200 pages of free printing.
If you want to access Langsdale's databases from OFF-CAMPUS, you must have a Langsdale barcode. To obtain a barcode, take your UB ID to the Circulation Desk on the first floor at any time the Library is open, call (410)837-4260, complete the online registration form, or email langcirc@ubalt.edu after the first few weeks of the semester with your name, address, phone number, ss# and student status.
