By your second registration at UB, you should have already taken your Upper-division Writing Placement to ensure timely graduation and to enhance your academic performance in subsequent courses. In order to register for Advanced Expository Writing (WRIT 300)—an upper-division general education writing course required of all majors—you must either pass Practicum in Writing (WRIT 200) or score a 300 on the Upper-division Writing Placement Test.
This placement can only be taken once. You must R.S.V.P. for this placement below. If there is no R.S.V.P. field below, then this section is full—please try another date, or contact Carey Miller (placement@ubalt.edu) to attend the placement as a walk-in. Be sure to arrive a fifteen minutes prior to the start of placement. Late arrivals will not be admitted. This placement is computer-based and will require your NET ID.
