The University of Baltimore joins in the celebration of International Women's Day, an event that is recognized around the world.
By observing this day, UBalt raises awareness regarding issues faced by women and girls today, such as sexism and discrimination. The University seeks to honor all women, and to ensure that they are celebrated, recognized, and empowered at our institution.
The University will host an online discussion forum, "Womanism vs. Feminism in the 21st Century," today beginning at 4 p.m. Jennica Larrison, graduate program director and assistant professor of Global Affairs and Human Security, will facilitate this discussion.
