Jeff Kukucka will deliver a talk titled, "Why Do Innocent People Go to Prison? The Psychology of Wrongful Convictions." Kukucka is an assistant professor of law and psychology at Towson University who trained under Saul Kassin, Distinguished Professor of Psychology at John Jay College of Criminal Justice, and has expertise in forensic confirmation bias, false confessions and jury decision-making.
