Description:

Federal J.D. Advantage Hiring Workshop

Monday, May 24, 5:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. Register here.

The Federal Government is a rich source of J.D. Advantage careers, but navigating the USAJobs application process is a daunting task, requiring custom, in-depth application materials and knowledge of how keywords factor into the screening process.

To help students navigate the process, the LCDO is partnering with Professional Federal Resume Writer, Nancy Segal, on this Federal JDA hiring workshop.  Attendees will learn the basics of how to craft a federal resume, how to identify and incorporate keywords into their application materials, and how federal hiring works.

This session will be recorded. 3Ls still seeking post-graduate employment are encouraged to attend.

Appropriate accommodations for individuals with disabilities will be provided upon request. Please contact lawcareer@ubalt.edu to request an accommodation.

Please note that this event will be recorded (in part) for the purposes of accommodating a disability, for students who cannot attend, or for students who wish to review the content of the program. By attending this event, you understand that it will be recorded. Students who do not consent may turn off their camera and mute their microphone. Students are strongly encouraged to participate fully in order to gain the full benefit of the program. All recordings are for the sole use of UB Law students and may not be reproduced for any other purpose.
