Description:

 Create and edit spreadsheets and work with large or multiple worksheets at once. This workshop is appropriate for users of Microsoft Office 97, 2000, XP, 2003, 2007 and 2010; Office 2010 will be used. A practice assignment is included. 

 

Specific Topics: different ways of performing the same operations, including shortcuts; inserting, deleting, cutting, copying and pasting data, rows and columns; working with multiple worksheets; working with cell ranges; numeric formatting; saving and AutoSave; using the fill series feature; sizing, wrapping and orienting text; merging cells; introduction to managing formulas, borders and shading; creating headers and footers; freezing rows and columns

 

Prerequisites: basic keyboard and mouse skills; basic understanding of any Windows environment
