Description:

Leading teams is always challenging, but it's especially challenging in times of crisis. How do you make decisions and come to a consensus when stress is high and people are counting on you? Join us for a simulation called "Earthquake!" which will challenge you to work with others as a team.

Presenters:

Anthony Butler is the Associate Director of Leadership and Community Engagement at UB. He has a B.A. in English and an M.A. in Publications Design with a specialization in creative writing from UB. He has more than a decade of experience in the areas of student development, leadership education, community engagement, and non-profit PR and marketing. Anthony oversees Be More, UB's leadership and community engagement program. He also teaches a 1-credit course on personal and professional development in the Robert G. Merrick School of Business. In his free time he enjoys writing fiction and poetry.

Anna Clark is a senior at the University of Baltimore studying Human Services Administration. She is currently on the Leadership and Service Council and serves on the Leadership Series Committee. She is the Secretary of the Omicron Delta Kappa Honor Society here on campus and she is the President of the University of Baltimore Bible Fellowship. Anna is also very involved in the Baltimore City Community. She is a graduate of the Leadershape program and works with children through the teaching of music.
