Author Mark Hertsgaard will discuss how we can reverse climate change—the topic of his latest book, Hot—on Tuesday, Oct. 15 at the University of Baltimore. Hertsgaard, a journalist and advocate for environmental action, is especially concerned about climate change's effect on the two billion young people he calls "Generation Hot": the generation that will live most of their lives in an era of rapid, often unpredictable environmental extremes. Hertsgaard's talk will take place at 7 p.m. in the UB Learning Commons, 1415 Maryland Ave. It is free and open to the public.
