The University of Baltimore School of Law is proud to announce the establishment of a series of lectures by distinguished speakers on current issues in litigation. Please join us for the inaugural lecture, "A Brief History of the Jury Trial from About 1250 to the Present," by The Hon. Frederic Smalkin, with commentary by The Hon. Lynne Battaglia and attorney Charles Iliff. 

The Hon. Fred Smalkin, former federal district court judge, is a professor and judge-in-residence at the UB School of Law. 
The Hon. Lynne Battaglia is an Associate Judge of the Maryland Court of Appeals and an adjunct faculty member at the UB School of Law.
Charles Iliff is co-founder of the civil litigation firm Iliff, Meredith, Wildberger & Brennan P.C.
