Join the University of Baltimore School of Law’s Center on Applied Feminism for a workshop and conference about “Applied Feminism and Health.” The Center is collaborating with the Women’s Law Center of Maryland for the workshop session from 3:30-5 p.m. on Thursday, March 6 in the 12th-floor reading room, which will focus on advocacy relating to the reproductive justice movement. Terry O’Neill, president of the National Organization for Women (NOW) and a feminist attorney, professor and activist for social justice, will give the keynote address on Thursday evening at 5:30 p.m. in the Moot Courtroom.

The all-day conference on Friday, March 7, will feature presentations from academics, practitioners and advocates on issues relating to reproductive justice, the Affordable Care Act and women’s health. An electronic copy of the conference schedule is available.
