Description:

Langsdale Library, the Helen P. Denit Honors Program, and the Office of the Provost are sponsoring an undergraduate symposium entitled “Inspired Discoveries” on May 9, 2014 in the Learning Center Town Hall and lobby. This symposium is part of an ongoing effort to recognize and encourage undergraduate research and other academic achievements.

The day will consist of opening remarks from President Robert Bogomolny and Provost Joseph S. Wood, student presentations, a luncheon with an alumnus keynote speaker and honors thesis presentations. Student presentations will be in the form of poster sessions, exhibits, panel presentations or presented papers. The best project in both areas of research and creative works will receive up to a $500 scholarship and participants’ work will be featured in an online campus publication.

The presentations are open to the public; you are welcome to stay for the entire program, or to drop by as your schedule permits.
