LCDO Career Choices Series

On November 19, 2014, at 5:30 p.m. the School of Law will host a panel featuring three alumni who have recently begun careers in intellectual property law.  Joe Combs (UB Law 2011) will describe his experiences as a patent examiner at the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office,  Christopher T. La Testa (UB Law 2004) will discuss his experiences practicing as an Intellectual Property Litigation Associate at Venable LLP, and Abioye Oyewole (UB Law 2009) will describe her experiences working as an Attorney Advisor at the U.S. Copyright Office.  After their initial remarks, the panel will answer questions from students regarding strategies for launching IP careers.
