Screening of this Jonathan Demme film based on Toni Morrison's Pulitzer prize winning novel kicks off the 7th annual African American Arts Festival. The screening is free and part of Professor Leyva's Literature to Film, Professor Badejoe's undergrad Morrison and Professor Lynne's Screenwriting classes.
