Visiting scholar, Andres Rodriguez Reyes, will deliver a keynote address titled “Cultural Identity and Syncretism in Cuba.” Reyes is a professor of religion and society in the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities at the University of Matanzas, Cuba who specializes in the study of Afro-Cuban religions, spiritualism and religious/spiritual communication in the province of Matanzas. He led the course of study for the UB Cuba Study Abroad trip in June 2016. 

Presentation followed by light reception. Open to the UB community.
