The College of Public Affairs Dean's Speaker Series welcomes guest speaker Tamás Novák, who will give a lecture on the narrative complexity in the HBO series The Wire.

About Tamás Novák...

Tamás Novák graduated in American Studies and Computer Science from Chemnitz University
of Technology, Germany. His master’s thesis examined narrative complexity in The Wire. His
research interests include cultural studies and media studies with a focus on television and
subcultures. He works as a software engineer in Dortmund, Germany.
