Instruction Discussion for Spring Semester’s NEA Big Read at UB

Attend this informal discussion to get ideas, resources, activities for incorporating Citizen: An American Lyric by Claudia Rankine into your spring semester class. The University of Baltimore was awarded a grant for developing programming around this collection of essays and poetry, including a visit by the author on March 7, 2019. Discover ways to build in Citizen or text excerpts into your course topics, and how to complete an application to enhance your class for the spring. The cost of purchasing copies of Citizen: An American Lyric can be covered in enhanced courses. Faculty attendees will receive a copy of the book, and light refreshments will be served.
