Join the UBalt Law Center for Criminal Justice Reform for a discussion with M. Chris Fabricant, author of Junk Science and the American Criminal Justice System.
Fabricant is the Innocence Project’s director of strategic litigation, and one of the nation’s leading experts on forensic sciences and the criminal justice system. A former public defender and clinical law professor, he brings to his writing more than two decades of experience, ranging from litigating death penalty cases in the Deep South to misdemeanors in the South Bronx.
Joining Fabricant on the panel will be Prof. Erica J. Suter, director of the UBalt Law Innocence Project Clinic, and Prof. Maneka Sinha, who teaches forensic science and in the criminal defense clinic at the University of Maryland Carey School of Law.
The event will take place in the 12th floor reading room in the Angelos Law Center. Lunch will be served, so please register in advance.
