Get on your bikes and ride!
Be part of the University of Baltimore's Bike to School Day, starting on campus on the morning of Wednesday, May 4. UB's Bicycling Club, the University of Baltimore Outdoors Club, and UBGreen will bring together all of our campus bike riders as part of a national celebration of two-wheeled freedom. Leave your car behind, and come explore the many green, bike-friendly spaces around UB.
"I love bike riding around Baltimore with fellow UB students," says Laura Melamed, Langsdale Library service assistant and founding member of the UB Bicycling Club. "It's great riding with the club on the Jones Falls Trail and at the Inner Harbor along the waterfront. It's a fun way to exercise, make friends and visit scenic spots in the city."
Here is the schedule for UB's Bike to School Day:
8-9:30 a.m.: Check in with your bicycle on Gordon Plaza. Snacks and t-shirts will be available. (tees for students only.)
