The University of Baltimore School of Law will host a commencement ceremony for its graduating class on Monday, May 16 at 1 p.m. in the Patricia and Arthur Modell Performing Arts Center at the Lyric, adjacent to the UB campus.
Stephen B. Bright, president and senior counsel for the Southern Center for Human Rights, will deliver a keynote address to the graduates and their guests. UB President Kurt L. Schmoke and School of Law Dean Ronald Weich will offer welcoming remarks, while Provost Darlene Smith will offer the commendation of the law school faculty. David Kinkopf, representative of the University System of Maryland Board of Regents, also will offer greetings. Congratulations from the School of Law's alumni community will be delivered by Darryl L. Tarver, J.D., ’14. Jennifer E. Daly, this year's valedictorian, will offer remarks; she and classmate Carisa Hatfield will receive Law Faculty Awards from Dean Weich.
This is the 89th commencement of the University of Baltimore School of Law.
