Finch is a poet and a witch—and considers them to be the same thing. She speaks and teaches on women's empowerment, poetry and poetic form, and earth-based spirituality. Her many publications include books on poetic craft, writings on spirituality, the feminist epic Among the Goddesses, and the poetry collections Eve, Calendars, and Spells. Finch teaches in the low-residency M.F.A. program in creative writing at St. Francis College.
Pollard is a poet and professor of English at West Chester University of Pennsylvania. Her work has appeared in several journals and anthologies, including 5AM, African American Review, PoemMemoirStory, the Pittsburgh Poetry Review, and Rattle. Her chapbook, Outsiders, won the Mississippi Valley/Susan K. Collins Poetry Chapbook 2015 Contest.
