University of Baltimore College of Public Affairs graduate student Tracey Lankford is the recipient of AARP's 2017 Community, State and National Affairs Operational Excellence Award. Lankford, a student in UB's Master of Public Administration program, is a senior operations associate for AARP.
The honor is given annually to one staff member from AARP's 53 state and territorial offices who has exhibited outstanding service and performance in advancing the nationwide organization's operational goals and objectives throughout the last calendar year.
"On behalf of the College of Public Affairs, I want to congratulate Tracey on being the winner of this prestigious award," said Roger Hartley, dean of the college.
