Student Winners of Blue Bee Challenge Propose Mentorships, Efficiencies

Two winners have been selected for the second annual Blue Bee Challenge, which asks University of Baltimore students and administrators to share ideas about how to improve the UB campus.
Ashley Frazier, a graduate student in the MBA program, won the top prize of $500 for her idea of creating a mentorship program for undergraduate students. Dinal Fedrian, a graduate student in the Legal and Ethical Studies program, received the second-place prize of $250 for his idea to make the Student Center more efficient for the student population.
Judges included Nebeye Sertsu, vice president for Capital Planning and Campus Operations; Nicole Marano, associate vice president for Student Success and Support Services; Darlene Smith, executive vice president and provost; and Beth Amyot, chief financial officer and vice president for Administration and Finance.
The Blue Bee Challenge is sponsored by the University of Baltimore Student Government Association.
