XI’AN, CHINA
DEBRA L. STANLEY, professor in the School of Criminal Justice, and ROGER HARTLEY, dean of the College of Public Affairs, traveled to China to initiate an educational and cultural exchange partnership with Northwest University of Political Science and Law. Their plan is to develop an opportunity for a cohort of students in the M.S. in Forensic Science—High Technology Crime program to take three courses in China and the remaining seven courses at the University of Baltimore. They also discussed plans to develop joint research, teaching and outreach opportunities, which could include short- and long-term study-abroad experiences for students and additional pathways for students to earn degrees at either university.
