Description:

The Office of Diversity and International Services, the Student Events Board and the Office of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging of the Law School invite you to join us for the International Women’s Day event on March 7th. This event is a showcase to celebrate the strength, accomplishments, and contributions of women at UBalt and around the world! Hosts will be sharing their lived experiences as women, their arts and crafts, their businesses, and their personal stories relating to different cultures, achievements, and more with the UBalt community. This is a catered event.

This year's theme is Women Thrive. There are many ways that women are thriving at UBalt: in academia, arts and sciences, activism, military, business, public service, the non-profit sector, the government, or building strong community relations. We would like to take time during this event to celebrate such accomplishments by amplifying women's voices, and recognizing the amazing work that women are doing in their communities, but all genders are encouraged to attend and participate in the event. On this day we will also launch a poster exhibit showcasing the work of 25 women at Ubalt.
