New and Improved Employment Contract Processing

William H. Thumel Sr. Business Center

Contract Writer/Coordinator Training

Writing and processing employment contracts is a complex, multistep and multi-departmental collaboration that requires attention to regulatory compliance while ensuring timely service, communication and payment.

As the number of contracted staff and adjunct faculty increased over the years, the Office of Human Resources (OHR) measured an increasing challenge in meeting regulatory standards and maintaining timely service and payment. In an effort to improve current practices, OHR designed an informative web resource, redesigned and created electronic contract forms, developed a Contract Coordinator user group, and is ready to deliver training to ensure your success in developing and processing employment contracts.

This 2-hour supervisory training is required for all identified Contract Coordinators and their Business Managers, in addition to faculty and managers who write employment contracts.

If you are unable to attend any of these sessions, please contact Mark Emmel at ext. 4399 for alternative scheduling.

We look forward to seeing you there.
