In this workshop, you’ll become familiar with basic statistical data analysis definitions and symbols. You’ll cover aspects of descriptive statistics including measures of location and variations such as mean, median, mode, variance, standard deviation, frequency, and percentages/percentiles for one or more variables. As time allows, you’ll also cover basics of inferential statistics including confidence intervals, hypotheses testing, t-tests, f-tests, matched samples, correlation, simple regression, multiple regression, and chi-square tests of independence.
