Cybersecurity: Is Patient Privacy Extinct?

William H. Thumel Sr. Business Center

Privacy breaches to electronic health records and related financial data are happening faster and more frequently than ever. A recent breach at Anthem gave unauthorized access to personal information for 78.8 million people.

Join academic and public- and private-sector experts for an interactive and in-depth discussion of patient privacy. Panelists will discuss the issue as it relates to the interaction between public-sector laws and regulations and private-sector initiatives and will offer insight into lessons learned and next steps.
