Description:

Writers are often confused when they write about past events or research. Do you say, “Researchers argued” or “researchers argue?” Some disciplines prefer the use of one tense for expressing general ideas and another tense for events in the past, while other disciplines use a single tense for all ideas. This workshop will explore these conventions with plenty of opportunities and exercises for practice.
