The University of Baltimore School of Law's Center on Applied Feminism presents the 9th Annual Feminist Legal Theory Conference, Applied Feminism Today. Activists and academics will share their work on cutting-edge issues of feminist legal theory. Judge Nancy Gertner, a former U.S. federal judge who built her career standing up for women's rights, civil liberties and justice, will be the keynote speaker. She is now on the faculty at Harvard Law School and is the author of In Defense of Women: Memoirs of an Unrepentant Advocate.
