If your major or intended profession is criminal justice, psychology, or public administration, SPSS is an especially useful software tool for analyzing data. Learn to define the factors you want to investigate, choose your scale of measurement and enter data. Find the mean, median, mode, standard deviation, and create frequency distributions and related graphs. Using a SPSS data file, we’ll also perform some basic inferential statistics such as hypothesis testing and regression analysis.
