Daphne Muse is a writer, veteran of the civil rights movement, former secretary of the Angela Davis Legal Defense Team (1971-1972), and nationally recognized collector of Black, history, life, and culture. Ms. Muse will speak on her Letters Project, a collection of more than 3700 handwritten and typed letters dating back to 1958 with activists, writers, artists, and world leaders, including Oprah Winfrey, Alice Walker, Richard Pryor, and President Barack Obama.
