International Asexuality Day Panel
April 6th marks a very important day, one that places importance on Asexuality and people from the LGBTQIA+ community that identify as Asexual.
There are so many misconceptions regarding this category on the rainbow spectrum, partly because Asexuality in itself has a wide array of sub-categories and people living very different lives.
We believe it's important to bring a number of Asexual individuals from the UBalt community and let them tell us in their own words, what Asexuality means to them, what they feel should be addressed regarding stereotypes and labels, and of course, their own personal stories.
If you're a part of the community, or, if you've always wanted to be an ally and learn, or if you know someone who is Asexual and you want to know how to better support and celebrate them, come and enjoy the panel!
The people on the panel are still TBD, but we can tell you these will all be staff, faculty, and students from our university.
Come enjoy some sweet treats, coffee/tea, and riveting conversation.
We hope to see you there!
