The ceremony will feature remarks by UB President Robert Bogomolny, UB Foundation Chair Michael Curry, and UB Professor and Writer in Residence Arthur Magida. The ceremony, led by ODK Vice President Lauren Lake, will include remembrances of the alumni who were lost on 9/11, and an opportunity for members of the UB community to reflect upon the events of 9/11 and their impact on our campus. Family members of the alumni who were lost have been invited to attend the ceremony. The University of Baltimore alumni who died on September 11, 2001 are:
· Joseph V. Maggitti, B.S. '75
· Seamus Oneal, M.S. '97
· Karen L. Seymour, B.S. '81.
The plaque for these graduates hangs in a prominent location on the fence that separates the garden from the sidewalk and Maryland Avenue.
