Election 2012: Are You Still on the Fence?

When:
Location:
Talkin' Trash Recycling Fence on West Oliver Street
Description:

Are you ready to get your vote on this November? Who's your candidate? What's your biggest issue?

Join us to talk about this fall's presidential election on Wednesday, Oct. 3 from 12:30 to 1 p.m., in front of UB's Talkin' Trash fence (on Oliver Street across from the Fitzgerald Garage entrance). Ivan Sascha Sheehan, director of graduate programs in conflict management and global affairs in the School of Public and International Affairs, will lead a discussion of the key issues in this year's election—the economy, taxes, health care and national security—and why your vote matters.

Afterward, head over to Gordon Plaza to "Rock the Vote" with the UB Student Events Board from 1-3:30 p.m. Enjoy the DJ and pick up some important information about voter registration while you’re there.

And that evening, the UB Debaters invite you to watch the first presidential debate at 9 p.m., in the Diversity & Culture Center Lounge in Student Center Room 002. A casual discussion of the debate will follow.
