Experiential Learning Without Leaving the Classroom

William H. Thumel Sr. Business Center

Prof. Tiago Ratino, assistant professor of entrepreneurship and Prof. Frank van Vliet, executive in residence in marketing, will host an Merrick School of Business Seminar entitled, “Experiential Learning Without Leaving the Classroom”.

During this informal "brown-bag lunch" event, the professors will share some to the key highlights and takeaways that they learned while attending a recent Experiential Classroom XIV workshop titled, “Becoming a Great Entrepreneurship Educator."

The presentation will be interactive, where both new and proven techniques can be shared by all faculty members who have successfully, or are interested in, bringing experiential learning into their classrooms.

This event is open to all UB faculty and staff, but you must R.S.V.P. by Nov. 15 on the UB event calendar.

  • Co-sponsored by the Merrick School of Business, UB's Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation and the Bank of America Center for Excellence in Learning and Teaching.
