Girl Rising: Finding Your Voice Through Education has been RESCHEDULED from Feb.17! The new date will be Tues. Marc 10 from 4-6pm in BC 143!
The Leadership and Service Council at UB presents Girl Rising; a film stressing the absolute necessity of educational equality for girls across the globe. Sections of the film will be shown followed by a discussion of the global issues addressed such as human trafficking, poverty, sexual assault, and child brides. By raising awareness and opening conversation about these topics we are empowering our community to react meaningfully and thoughtfully.
