On Thursday, May 11th at 7pm in the Wright Theater, MFA alum Victoria Kennedy kicks off the Emerging Voices Project with a staged reading of her new play, The Uninvited Guest. Based on her short story from her MFA thesis collection, the narrative focuses on the intersection of class and race in the Baltimore African-American community. The reading is free to the public and followed by a talkback.
